I am a software and technology enthusiast (AKA: geek) with over 15 years of experience in the software business. I have been writing code and tearing gadgets open since the age of 8, and even coded my first bug ever around that time (with many to follow in later years..)
As an engineer I used to spend inordinate amounts of time delving deep into assembly language and operating systems, doing quite a bit of reverse engineering, low-level software development, kernel hacking, device drivers, etc.
Nowadays I combine that hardcore technological knowhow with a more high level view on business models, product design, and user experience.
In the past 3 years I’ve been serving as Chief Technology Officer of Else Ltd., developer of the revolutionary First Else mobile handset, and have been researching mobile user interfaces and associated technologies.
I am the author of the book Reversing: Secrets of Reverse Engineering (John Wiley & Sons, 2005), which teaches and demonstrates hands-on software reverse engineering.
